People in Partnership (PIP) is a network of Lamoille Valley coalitions, organizations and citizens who work collaboratively to create and support a thriving community.
Our common purpose is to make improvements in outcomes of well-being for children, families and individuals through the development of strategies that engage diverse sectors of the community. Using results-based accountability as our guide, we are the conveners in our communities, hosting public education forums and creating task groups to tackle particularly difficult community issues, in particular, we recognize the power of the ordinary citizen and focus on civic engagement in every aspect of our work.
Fundamentally, we work closely with our partners to impact policy, improve program practice, and bring resources to our regions. Over the past 16 years PIP has either birthed, influenced or played a strong partner role with the following: Lamoille Valley Long Term Care Team, Housing Coalition, Lamoille Valley Mentoring Partnership, Johnson State’s Nonprofit Management Training Series, Community Justice Project, Family Advocacy Network, Lamoille Fit and Healthy Council, Lamoille Valley Hunger Coalition, and NeighborKeepers (just to name a few!).
PIP welcomes you to join our monthly meetings, usually held the 4th Friday, 10:30-12:00 in Morrisville.
