Vermont Community Foundation Fall Grant Round 9/3

The Vermont Community Foundation is accepting applications for its Fall 2010 Grant Round up to $10,000 in operating supportĀ for Basic Human Needs, Successful Communities, Sustainable Communities. The deadline is Friday, September 3d. Decisions will be made by December 2010. If you have immediate questions and have reviewed the grant applications, log on for the “online grant seekers forum” on Thursday, August 26th at 1 p.m.

The grant rounds are open to any nonprofit, municipality, or educational institution. We favor projects that bring people and resources together to solve a problem, meet a need, and have a lasting impact towards our ends statement: Building Healthy and Vital Vermont Communities.

Basic Human Needs:
Children, Elderly and Family Services; Housing, Food and Shelter; Health

Sustainable Communities: Arts, Humanities and Cultural Heritage; Environment; Economic Development

Successful Communities: Civic Engagement; Diversity and Equity; Education
