Register Today! Join us “under the dome” to show the Vermont Legislature the importance of the work we do, strengthen ties with each other and gain usable advocacy skills that advance our commitment to Vermont’s people and environment. Cost: $10. As of 2/6 over 80 nonprofits, municipalities, small businesses and government offices have delegates registered to attend the event. Organizations include: Mobius Mentors, Champlain Housing Trust, Community Capital, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont, Yestermorrow, United Way of Chittenden County, the Snelling Center for Government, North West Access TV, Johnson State College, Central VT Community Action Council, Springfield College, Ru12, VT Elders and many more.
Prepare Now: Make an appointment with your legislator. Let them know you are coming and that you’d like to speak with them while you are there. Prepare your talking points about the difference your organizations makes in your community and our state. Check out these helpful resources. Also: Learn more about proposed tax policies that may affect your organization.
