ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR SCHOOL PROGRAMS
The Flynn Center’s Education Department seeks a highly-organized individual to direct and manage Flynn programs that provide services to schools and teachers. Duties include planning, implementing, coordinating, evaluating, and refining school programs, including but not limited to the Words Come Alive! arts integration/professional development program, Student Matinee Companion Workshops, Vermont Young Playwrights Program, and Teacher Training Courses/Workshops/ Conferences.
Requirements:
Master’s degree and relevant administrative/program development experience (or a combination of comparable arts and education experience); familiarity with school curricula & education initiatives; experience with grant writing, budgets, marketing/promotion; strong oral & written communication skills; team player who can manage deadlines and work well under pressure; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Performing arts teaching background preferred.
This is a 32-hour per week position with full benefits. A possible departmental restructuring in fall may increase this position to 40 hours per week.
