Director of Homeownership
This is an opportunity to work with a committed team of professionals to assist homeowners and homebuyers in Windham and Windsor Counties. The Director of Homeownership is responsible for developing and managing all programs and initiatives for prospective homeowners and for existing homeowners, including Housing Counseling, the Rehabilitation Loan Fund, and the shared equity single family home purchase program. The Director of Homeownership oversees a staff of 8 in two offices. She/he will set goals and outcomes for the department, develop department budgets and funding opportunities, and represent WWHT in statewide and national meetings and collaborative efforts.
The Director of Homeownership will join the WWHT Management Team, collaborating to provide leadership for the organization and to oversee all planning and organizational development.
This is a great job in an organization committed to excellence. The successful candidate will have a BA and five years of experience in a nonprofit, including supervisory experience, as well as demonstrated leadership qualities and a passion for this work. Experience in nonprofit housing, real estate, or mortgage lending preferred.
