Beat the Heat with UVM Project Management Seminars

UVM’s Center for Leadership and Innovation announces its August workshop schedule in Project Management:

How can you prioritize, plan and implement projects within budget, time and staffing constraints? Whether you are experienced with project management or just starting out, the Center for Leadership and Innovation’s new Project Management seminars can provide you with the knowledge and confidence to oversee projects from start to finish. Register for just one or two seminars to hone your project leadership skills.

August seminars include:

Project Scope and Quality
Thursday & Friday August 9-10, 2012

In this two-day seminar, you will learn accepted and proven principles and techniques that will help you plan and develop manageable projects that, in the end, satisfy the largest number of people involved.

Project Schedule and Cost
Thursday & Friday August 23-24, 2012

In this two-day seminar, you will learn the processes and techniques necessary to manage a project in the moment and guarantee its timely completion within approved budgetary constraints.

Grant Funding Available at 40%

This grant is available to employees working in the industries of manufacturing, healthcare, informational technology, telecommunications, and environmental engineering. The grant is offered through a partnership with the Vermont Training Program and the Department of Economic Development.
