Seeking Operations Manager

Planting Hope seeks a part-time Operations Manager to work with our growing international non-profit organization at our Montpelier, VT office.  The Operations Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and Nicaraguan staff to perform development activities (grant writing and reporting, communications, correspondence and outreach) and administrative tasks in Vermont (email, excel, mail, banking and correspondence), The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and strong communication skills, oral and written, be able to work independently and with direction, and be able to delegate responsibilities. He or she should have a facility with database programs, Office suite and Quickbooks.  Familiarity or fluency in  Spanish is very useful and interest in Latin American culture and travel and service-learning is a plus.

Expected start date: October 1, 2012
