Vermont Legal Aid seeks a full-time Outreach Specialist to work in its Health Care Ombudsman Project located in Burlington. Responsibilities include design and implementation of expanded web-based outreach efforts to provide Vermonters with information and advice regarding health insurance and health care. Some travel for community outreach presentations will be required. The position requires excellent communication and writing skills and the ability to learn quickly. Experience with website design and/or maintenance a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Starting salary $30,600 +DOE, four weeks paid vacation and excellent fringe benefits. Position runs through August 2013.
