Vermont Works for Women, in partnership with Comcast, is piloting an exciting new career training opportunity. STEP UP TO TELECOMMUNICATIONS will train women for work as a Field Technician in a growing industry with job opportunities. The 6-week (80 hour) course begins November 1 in the Burlington area. Classes will be held on Thursday and Friday evenings, and all day on Saturday. Successful graduates will have networking and interview opportunities with Comcast and other business partners in the telecommunications field.
