The Family Center of Washington County is a Montpelier based non-profit agency providing a variety of services to the families of Central Vermont. We are part of the statewide Parent Child Center Network, which helps families with issues such as child care, early childhood education, parent education, home visiting, family fun events, playgroups, services for children with developmental delays and advocacy and community organizing around early childhood issues.
The Family Center is seeking an experienced Development Director to effectively manage the fund development operations of the Family Center. Collaborate with Board members and staff to achieve long-term financial sustainability. Ensure that fund development activities happen in a timely, efficient, cost effective, and ethical manner. Seek increased and diversified funding by working with the Board and staff teams to identify fundable projects and key individuals, corporations, and foundations to cultivate giving.
This position will guide the organization towards a desired integrated funding model outlined in our strategic plan. The Director of Fund Development will be an integral part of a dynamic team of professionals seeking to foster the positive growth of children and families in our communities.
