| The Family Place Parent Child Center, Norwich, Vermont seeks qualified applicants for the position of Executive Director. As a designated Parent-Child Center for Northern Windsor County, Vermont, The Family Place is committed to supporting families with young children by providing a variety of early childhood, family centered programs and services.The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and long term vision of the organization.
The successful applicant for this position will:
- Have a BA in a Human-Services-related field, with a Masters preferred
- Have extensive experience in administration, some in the non-profit sector
- Be a skilled and seasoned leader of a dedicated team of professionals
- Be a strategic thinker and an excellent communicator, both in writing and speaking
- Be experienced managing the finances of an organization with varied funding sources
- Maintain the highest level of program service possible within the budget
- Build community connections and secure funding both from private donations and government grants
- Be passionate about serving families with young children in the Upper Valley.
