Job Alert: Vermont Center for Independent Living Seeks Peer-to-Peer Mental Health Network Program Coordinator

Vermont Center for Independent Living, a statewide disability rights organization, is currently seeking a candidate for the following position:
The Program Coordinator provides operational and logistical support to the multi-partner Peer Network; monitoring activities, developing schedules, training, and general integrative support with related VCIL programs. This support involves a variety of schedule coordination, training, needs assessment, report development, and collaboration within several partner organizations and state agencies. This position reports to the Advocacy Manager, VCIL, and requires occasional state-wide travel.

Basic Qualifications:Commitment to disability rights, the philosophy of independent living, and the mission and goals of VCIL. Lived experience with a psychiatric disability.  Problem solving skills. Ability to maintain a Peer-centered approach to policy issues. Ability to work collaboratively with VCIL and external staff. Highly developed and expressed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Technological literacy. Highly organized and able to plan and prioritize assignments. Post-secondary education.
