I am having trouble navigating the Online Survey, how do I go back to a previous page?
Your browser’s back and forward buttons won’t work to navigate through the survey. You’ll have to use the buttons at the bottom of each survey page.
What should I do if I can’t find a job description to fit one of our staff?
In deciding which job descriptions to include, we were cognizant that not all job statistics would be collected. Part of the job of this questionnaire is not only to determine nonprofit remuneration, but also to determine where the jobs lie. If you would like us to consider adding a job description, please forward a copy of that description, along with the corresponding wage statistics to Shelagh Cooley at firstname.lastname@example.org. If we receive enough entries for a particular job category, we will include the data in this year’s report and also add it to the questionnaire for the next report.
I am the only employee in our one-person shop. Since I wear many hats, how should I report my salary?
One person shops usually have an executive director, a coordinator, or an administrative assistant level employee. Please pick the job description and qualification level that best fits your situation. The organization’s budget size will identify the one-person-shop multi-taskers.
Do I count the cost of employee compensation in “fringe benefits”?
No, only count the benefits your organization gives to the employees, not the associated costs.
When will the report be published?
Fall 2014 based on data collected during May 2014.
How much does the report cost?
$99 for Vermont nonprofits, $250 for all others and FREE for participating organizations.
